Manhattan Beach Real Estate Update – March Home Prices

It was another incredible month for the number of homes that sold in Manhattan but especially the home prices.  Let’s take a look at the homes, townhomes and condos that closed escrow in Manhattan Beach in March.  The number of homes that sold increased a bit with 28 home sales in March compared with 24 closed sales in February.  The average “list” price was an impressive $3,530,925 with the average sold price at $3,581,913 meaning that homes generally sold above the original list price. The average price per foot was $1448 and median days on market was a very brief 9 days before going into pending status.  The average days on market was 26.  See how this compares to other months on our Manhattan Beach real estate trends and statistics page.

Two of the 28 home sales were in the gated community of Manhattan Village. The lowest priced home sale of the month was a 2 bedroom court home in Manhattan Village located at 14 Monterey Ct that closed at $1,325,000.

Manhattan Beach September Real Estate Recap

Welcome to the real estate recap for Manhattan Beach.  September 2021was a bit slower than September 2020 in terms of the number of homes that sold, but it was an impressive month for home prices.   There were 43 closed home sales which was down a bit from the 61 that closed in September 2020 but prices were way up….do in no small part to several oceanfront Strand homes selling during the month.  The median sales price was $3,954,000 up almost $1,000,000 from 2020….again do in no small part to the closing of several very high priced beachfront homes.  See how this compares with other months on our Manhattan Beach real estate trends page.

What a month it was in the Manhattan Beach real estate market with 55 on market home sales. The median sales price of $2,775,000. The homes that sold only averaged 24 days on market before going into escrow and the average price per foot was an impressive $1,196.

Manhattan Beach Real Estate Recap – May Home Sales at a Glance

Welcome to our quick recap for real estate in Manhattan Beach during the month of May. Home sales were way down with only 20 homes that closed escrow compared with 45 a year earlier.  Prices were impressive, however with a median home sales price of $2,642,000 and only 36 days on market compared with 44 the year earlier.

Welcome to our real estate update for April 2020 in the city of  Manhattan Beach CA.  This is a quick overview of what the Manhattan Beach real estate market is doing and how it’s shifting.

There was a big drop in the number of home sales with with only 20 closed escrows compared wtih 44 in April 2019. 

The homes averaged only 41 days on market while the median sales price was a very impressive $3,540,000.  The average price per foot for the month was $1,309,000.
